Fuss,
I have a lap ticket you can buy off me if you want. I bought one of the season ticket things last time i was there but i have a ticket with about 8 or 9 laps left on it.
When we get there I will see how many laps there are left on it and do you a good deal if you like?

In theory cars have to pass a DB sound level. Not sure what that is, Ben Lovejoys site may help. In practise I havent seen a car being tested before. Daveyboy has seen the sound meter stuff up someones zorst before though.
I have heard blitz Nur spec scoobs and ferrari stradale's etc lapping and noise level is a very funny thing. The ferrari is by far the loudest car i have heard there but its the kind of sound it emits and how it would measure on the DB meter.
I dont think I would worry too much about it........ but thats only my opinion. You wont be the loudest im sure.
We will be there next Friday afternoon..........Me in the scoob and Davey in the clio cup. I will do you a deal on a ticket if you like? Got about 8 or 9 laps left that I dont need anymore........

i plan to be there from thursday.
It will be good to catch up again and grab a beer of two, the car is about the size of a wasp but goes a bit quicker.
Do not take a loud exhaust to the ring, they do noise test you if they suspect you are above the limit. Oficial limit is a static 95Dba test, although they tend to let you run with 97DBa.
If you see the marshals wandering around the carpark, its a good time to go have a coffee. *cough* If you are marginal keep off full throttle until into the T13 section, as you can be heard upto that point from the toll booths. Best policy is go with the quiet system attached, it's less agro and wont affect your driving experience at all.

On a serious note I brought the scoob over last time and acheived some reasonable times. I wanna get quicker and smoother though. Any chance you can sit alongside me for a lap and give me some hints and tips. It helped with the pug and im sure it will again? I find myself changing gear far too often....6 speed box is a pain in the axrse.......you can help with my lines as well?
