Who is going then, as loads of the RS lot are? If the regulars are going, how have you sorted the Tunnel discount in the past?

Not me...

Mike, I don't know of any way to get a chunnel discount other than be a member of Club or know someone who works there. The weekend prices mid-summer are staggering Good thing I'm flying....

Mike

IIRC if you have 12 (I think) cars in your group they will do you a deal.

You need to call them 0870 840 0046

They charge £30 if you miss a ferry.

IMO you are better off paying another £17 and getting Dover to Calais.

That dover boulogne crossing is a bit grim - its twice as long and geared to truckers more. If you shop around you can almost get as good going to calais

Rereading this - sorry I meant dover - dunkirk (norfolk line)

Faulty Towers ...... LOL ...... A stranger more hopeless lot you would be hard pressed to find. I remember sitting outside last August with a beer chatting to the missis at 9.45PM, while reading my map and working out our route down to Italy. All of a sudden the lights went out. I went inside to find out what was occuring to find that the staff had packed up and were on their way to bed. I couldnt believe it. I was told I would have to go to one of the pubs down the road if I wanted another beer........and I was a resident ... lol

I must admit I find the whole guest house thing strange over there though. Half the time if you go back to your room in the afternoon and want to ask someone something or new guests arrive etc you find no-one is there. They have all gone into town or something ... lol ...very odd

Remember our evening meal there in June?

Starters arriving at random times and steak was cold by the time the fries had arrived!

Wassup, not coming over? Fear, or the cost of the cut slicks broke the bank?
