dunno. are all the tickets sold out? the website seemed to have them yesterday. i think we are aiming for maison blanche inside the track.
i hope they are not all sold!! i would have thought the tunnell would have sold long before the camping?
where have you tried!?

BOING!
Not long to go now
Anyone else leaving Calais thursday morning with the 9:30 crowd looks like a load of us going at that time, lots staying over night in Calais and and the rest coming off the ferry first thing.
Cant wait

Should be well into the French countryside by the time you roll of the boat. Taking a scenic route - including river crossing on a ferry - so you might just catch me, should also be pulling up for a Stella somewhere along the way.

I'm crossing on tunnel at 10:00 on thursday, so I'll probably miss the main convoy. I'm on Maison Blanche aswell (the best site for those in the know!).
Where will everyone be one the friday, we usually end up down by arnarge, or theres always the chinese on mulsanne on sunday night.
I'll be in the white RA with the 17" P1's

it's one of things you've GOT to do once in your life:)
reading these posts takes me back to when i went in '98, i was 22 and basically went for a 24 hr+ **** up as i didn't have any driving(or map reading) to do.
we were in a rather sporty(not) volvo that was the beer wagon for us and the 4 bikes in our convoy (i say convoy, it was until the first sign of an open road then the bikes flew off) seeing those poor buggers at the end of the journey with aching legs and backs made me feel soo happy i had a back seat to stretch out on
one thing to try if you still can (if possible) is to get places where you're not supposed to be (bit daft i know), we went out at about 3 in the morning to find a good place to watch some action, none of us knew where we were going (6 le mans virgins) so we drove around for a bit till we found somewhere to park.
then went for a walk and just followed the car noises, came up to a gate with a lonely looking bloke guarding it, he bottled it (6 pissed up blokes with beer crates of beer on their shoulders) and let us thru. turns out we walked onto a golf course that i guess is in the middle of the track(?) it was definately a golf course coz i fell into a bunker
anyways, carried on walking following car noises, climbed up a big ditch and was met by some armco, a car flew by and we realised we were on the mulsanne(?) straight what an experience, sticking your head over the armco to see lights flying at you at 200 mph, total buzz marshals a couple of hundred yards didn't seem to mind us being there until we started leaning on the armco, at that point they hearded us down to the corner (sorry, don't know the name of it but it's at the end of the straight) and watched mezmorised by glowing brake dics for ages!
sorry to waffle on, but it was such a great time, great drive down there. got onto the track and walked around it on friday night, got chased of by the police and had to climb a 20 foot fence to get away. an absolute top weekend.
if you're thinking of doing it, DO IT! i think anyone could go (even if you're not into motorsport) and bring back some great memories i know i did.

Hi all,
Going over on Tuesday, returning the monday after
No Scooby though as WR1 yet to arrive and my wagon is in being prepared for sale.
Going over with friends in a camper van so a long journey.....
We are towing a Mini Moke, which if all goes to plan will be sign written with "Frank Biela Official Refuelling Crew" so you may see us tooling around in that.
Regards
Robin

We're going over again. This time 6 cars in the convoy, including my Scoob (STi Wagon). We're booked on the 0733 Chunnel crossing on Thursday, camping in Houx Annexe and then travelling back on Monday afternoon. Be good to see some Scoobynetters there - come and say hi if you're about.
