Ed / Nozzer,
You can follow me if you want. Be warned though, you'll have plenty of time to look at the views 'cos I obey the speed limits on the motorways. Well, why waste petrol getting down there when I know I'll only get about 8mpg when I'm there

I go tunnel. Worked out that if I buy my full allowance of ****, I get enough points on my tunnel card to get me a free crossing on the next one. Only ever paid for one crossing Having said that, Eurotunnel are doing a 3 day (well, 2 nights minimum) return for £59 at the moment.
If you are going ferry, I can meet you on the other side. 3 mpg?? Lowest I've ever had there was 6 and I thought that was bad.

Tavia - sounds good, as does the £59!!! Is there a link for that somewhere or will they quote me that when I call? Are you also staying at the Zurburg?

That £59 deal is only available on crossings until 12th July
The best deal I could find was a whopping £173 on Eurotunnel or £162 on P&O. I personally would rather go by Eurotunnel. Its just a damn site easier, and less time consuming.
So what time should we all book on? 9am outbound and about 17:00 return??

Ok, had the go ahead from the track officer so will book the hotel this week, Tavia, where will you be driving from to meet you?
I am easy, the ferry or tunnel, not fussed just need to get to the ring
Yep, fuel economy is not great in the westie, especially if you have a 330bhp cossie in it
