I will be going again this year but not in my 01 but a friends Blue STI8 + PPP + Leda + 18".

We are going with a few other makes on thursday and stay in Alencon, 20 miles north of Le Mans and travel down for the race start (Karting Nord) and stay untill about 5.30 AM on the Sunday, get a few hours kip and head off home.

It is a bit of a laugh, the guys although very wealthy are a good down to earth bunch and do not hold back with the right foot.

Last year 2 of the Diablos saw an indicated 200 !! KMH of course

The Scoob wouldn't get past 152 as it was very hot during the day.

I was heading back home on Sunday afternoon from Le Mans and guess what cars came past?

2 x Lambo Diablo's (Black+Orange)
1 x Zonda (Silver)
3 x Porsches (various models)
1 x Merc SLK320 AMG

I was with my mate in his Carrera 4S, so he couldn't resist tagging on behind. Obviously I did too (Blue STi7+PPP), and what a great trip that turned out to be.

Fantastic sounds from the Lambo's and Zonda especially through the tunnels, made my day.

The AMG Merc was pretty quick, met up with him later and found out why it was a 5.5 ltr V8 in a SLK.
F___ing fast but still beaten by the big boys and their toys.

The Scoob does sound very quiet now.
