Default 2008+ front seats

hey this is a question for my old man, he has a wrx-s and has noticed that the drivers seat is wearing badly "/ car has only done 10k miles 2 years old, its starting the annoy the hell out him was wondering would i be able to swap the front seats for say STI ones like i have in mine, but noticed his has got airbags in the seats where as mine dont,

what options has he got, in replacing them

The seats out of up to hawk eyes won't fit in the hatch, best bet will to either repair or replace with STI hatch seats which also have the airbags in them. I picked a pair of fronts up which were pretty much new for £200

the hatch is basically based on the legacy.

Subframes share pretty much 3 out of the 4 bolt holes with a little fettling, had to completely modify the rear inner bracket completely to get them to fit in a classic

sounds like alot of work to retrofit, ill hunt for some hatch seats
