Stereo mounts for aftermarket stereo
Hi all,
Bit of a lazy post, but its cold and dark outside and I'm too lazy to go out and check for myself.....but can you use the stereo mounts from the stock double din stereo to fit an aftermarket single din and a single din cubby hole, or do I need to buy some new one, if so where can I get some?
Cheers
Car is a 98 WRX import without a band expander and I've got a decent head unit from my old MR2 that's got iPod docking etc.

For anyone wondering, I took the ones off my stock stereo and fitted it to my JVC unit and connected it up using one of these

I really hope you didn't buy that lead from Halfrauds!
They're under £3 on Ebay, the exact same Autoleads one that Halfrauds sell.
