Evening.
Ive gone and bought some lovely STI V8 seats that some kind soul has chopped and welded the rails to make them fit into his 4x4. Now they were a steal and were local. Whats the best way to fix this? I'm thinking new lower runners (the part that fastens to the floor) and then slide them into the existing uppers (that are on the seat) but Im struggling to find any. Naturally most people breaking the cars want to keep them together with the seats.
Is this my only way?
Cheers
Jim

If anyone is wondering this, you can persuade the sliders/rollers out of the end of the rail one by one with a thin screwdriver through the latches/holes, then the rails just slide out of each other.
