Default fitting a wide track facelift dash into a pre facelift blobeye

Hi,

Just wondering if it is an easy swap to put the newer dash with the nicer twisty ***** into a pre facelift blobeye which has the older style dash board heater controls?

Thanks

Michael

I did my old my03 wrx, you need the stereo brackets and a small bracket by the heater vents and the handbrake along with full console and dash panels, very easy to do, don't forget you also need to either modify the console to accept the mirror switch or relocate it. I fitted later door cards as well and used the mirror switch in the door panel, but this needed extra wires running into the door to get working correctly but was well worth it to finish it off.

sorry to butt in but why do you need the handbrake?
