Default swopping seats pads

Hi, is it possible to take the seat pads off and put them onto another set of seat frames??

Has anybody done this?

Or is this just a big NO! NO!

Thanks for any help, cheers.

According to Dutch Scooby Lover you can do it for a classic....

Take the passenger seat out, tip it upside down and take a look?

But if you can get 'em apart, surely, you can rebuild them?

We did this on my lad's Ibiza. Took us an afternoon, but we replaced all the seat pads out of a Cupra onto the seats of his 1.3, after the frames in the Cupra were bent.
