There was another post similar to this from a different user. As above the prosport 1s but it actually works out cheaper getting them from ebay. There is a listing where you can pick any three from the list for £97 + delivery.

Fits well in your budget and whatever you have left over can go towards any other mods.

The ones on ebay are mechanical gauges though, the ones on scoobyworld are electric stepper gauges. They look almost identical tho.

I have got the standard prosport gauges in my bugeye. I have them set up so that during the day they are white and when I put my headlights on they switch to green to match my dash lights.

Might do..........£400 nearer the mark with the control box, which you need.

My advice would be to keep looking on e-bay, and on here, wait your time, they are worth ther wait.

And if buying second hand, make sure you get ALL the senders and wiring.

I thought boost was always mechanical. Could be wrong but every gauge I have looked at (including other makes) are all mechanical.

Defi's boost gauge is electrical: there is a little box under the bonnet that converts the vacuum to an electrical signal for the control box, which feeds the gauge.

I have prosport premiums and they are all electrical steppers. White in the day and green at night to match oem dials (they are quite a bit brighter than the rest of the dash tho)
Got mine on ebay for around £40 each.

still looking but no luck.
I want them to fit where the clock is on a Blobeye wrx.
Who sells the best pod to achieve this?
I am tempted to buy new who does the best deal?
Do the 60mm look too big when fitted.
I want them to match the oem when working but blackout when not,is there such a gauge?

I was after 60mm gauges as well. I thought they might be a little to big but just wondering what other people think. People did say that the STI scoop on the blobeye is too big but I think its fine.

Funny enought the 60mm pod is cheaper on ebay than the 52mm.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMP...item3cb845b3f7

They did have the none carbon one at £50 but can't seem to find it.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/60mm-Smoke...item35ad7bd8cc

Those gauges go black on power off and do the whole sweep on start up just like defis.

It would be good to hear the views of people who have installed similar sized gauges.

I have the 52mm gauges but haven't found a pod i like yet. I've found it is easier to find 60mm pods. JM Carbon do the one i like best, especially as you get to keep the clock.
Yes the go black when they are off, white when engine running and green when you turn the lights on.

This is where i got my gauges from:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/52mm-Premi...item2a08a936c7

and this is what it looks like for now:

im trying to look for some prosport gauges atm but cant rly afford the premium series....thats a much better price, but im slightly cautious at the about of fake car parts you get from china on ebay...espesh as they have listed them as 'premier' not premium lol...

When I bought my Defis, I had to pierce holes in the gauge pod myself.

I thought about three: the boost in 60mm in the centre, flanked by two 52mm gauges, oil pressure and oil temperature. Thought it might look good, but in the end, I bottled it and bought all three 60mm. They ONLY JUST fit

I think the actual face size is whats different or it could be the bit including the bezel. Need some pics of people useing that size with the defi style pod in a new age.

you will need either a 52mm or 60mm pod depending on what size you buy.
