speedo removal on newage can someone help?
The speedo on it's own? (Ie: take the speedo off the clocks)?
Or remove the clocks?
If it's the latter, here's how to do it on a classic, which isn't much different.
Lower steering wheel as far as it will go to give access. Make sure ignition is OFF.
Unscrew the two screws from the top underside surface of the plastic trim inside the clocks opening. A stubby screwdriver helps here. Place screws in safe place
Wriggle that trim part out.
Now unscrew the three screws holding the clocks in place......two at bottom, one at top. A decent magnetic screrwdriver helps to stop the screws dropping into the dash.....they are hard to reach with even small fingertips. Place those with others two.
Pull the clocks towards you, and release the wiring connectors.
Once that's done, wriggle the clocks out of place.
DO ensure you haven't knocked the parking light switch to on, when removing and replacing clocks.
