Default uk clocks into import???

hi just a quick question my mate has bought some uk clocks and wants to fit them to his classic import wrx obviously the mph are on the outer edge of the uk clocks and wants these used rather than the inner ones if he was to remove the mph/kph converter would this work or not or is there no way of fitting these thanks

I'd think there would be a way, after all, you can put JDM clocks into a UK car.
