Default Erm Help!!!

Bought some rear seats to fit in the wagon on Saturday, however when i came to fit them yesterday i noticed that the bench part (the bit you sit on) has 2 fixing brackets, however i can only find one hole to fix them to. My old seats that were from a saloon only had one.
I have lifted the carpet to make sure i wasnt just being thick and where the other fixing should go there is a gromet, took this out and there is a hole there but nothing to screw the bolt into.
Has anybody else had this issue?

AFAIK the rear seats are diffent in a wagon to a saloon so that could explain why the difference in brackets.

Thats what confused me, i have a wagon and the person i bought the car off, had put wrx saloon seats in and cable tied the rears in, so thinking this was unsafe i decided it would be best to get some wagon rears.

No sorry i'll start again...
The saloon bench only has one fixing backet and that fits fine, the wagon seats have two fixing bracket that supposidly go into the chassis of the car, however i only have one!
This is harder to explain than i thought.

Where is the bracket on the base with only one?

Could be that the mounting points changed between different years of manufacture

Lift the carpet up and weld a nut over the hole
