Default 05 interior swap

just finishing of my 05 interior swap in my 04 sti
centre console all finished and was suprisingly easy door cards all swapped and looking good.
now the problem im having.
i am moving the door mirror switch from the centre console to its proper position in the 05 interior which is on the drivers door card.
i have extended the wire but am having no luck being able the thread it through the rubber boot part between the drivers footwell and door.
anyone have a good method for this????

also i have a full set of door cards and all sti 04 spec centre console, sti gear surround and other parts which i have listed in the for sale section.

Is there space in the rubber boot part? You could pull an exsisting cable out of it with a new bit attached then use the one you attched to pull the original one back through plus your new ones. Hope that makes sense!
