Default WRX to STI

Hello Everyone,

My name is shaun and im new to this site

In three weeks time i am going to be getting a wrx Bug eye. However there are a few mods that i would like to do and would like to ask for your help.

The Wrx bug eye shape speedo clocks are green. If i were to change them for an STI Blobeye ones with the red dials and gear shifter buzzer , is this a straight swap or is there any mods that need doing?

Secondly i would like to change the side skirts and Spoiler from a wrx to an sti. Are these just stright swaps?

any help would be much appriacated

I wouldn't be too sure about swapping clocks...........it's even a pain between classic 98 and 99 cars

And you don't need a gearshift light.........if you do, are you sure you ought to be driving a Scoob?

early blob blue dial clocks without dccd will fit straight in but the red ones you mention if you mean either blob jdm or uk hawk clocks have dccd wiring as well and is not a straight swap I fitted hawk sti clocks to my 03 wrx but it involved a few wiring changes and extra relay to get the warning lights working correctly, if all you want is the shift buzzer get bug or early blob clocks makes life a lot easier,

Thanks guys for the input, trouble is I really don't like the green back lit dials at night, is there anyway to get them red? Like different bulbs, or the blob eye, are these red lit dials?

Thanks guys
