Default center console

I just finished my center console. I've cut and reshaped it to fit a double din head unit and wraped every thing in 3D carbon film. Im happy with it now.

The carbon effect looks fantastic mate. Where did you buy it and is it easy to put on?
The matt finish looks really good, will it be hard wearing?

Cheers mate, does it wrap round the edges well? Do you use a hairdryer to get it to form into the tight curves? I assume you stripped all the dash trim out to cover them?

The sheet they are selling at 300mm x 1220mm is pretty good size for the money.

Hi mate it does wrap round the edges ok I used a hairdryer to get it to form into the tight curves on the front. but a hot air gun on some parts, like stretching it into the corners. Only because my other half's hairdryer was not hot enough. If you look I've reshaped the aria around the head unit. You will have to be carfull with the heat or the film will melt. I stripped all the dash trim out to cover them. It was only a few screws and job dun! good luck with your's mate.
