seat removal
im having some bucket seats leather trimmed by my mate but before i fit them i wondered if i can just unplug my airbag equipped bug seats to remove them or do i need to disconnect batt or something.
Always best to disconnect battery and leave for 30 minutes BEFORE disconnecting any part of the airbag sytem.
Then, when it's reconncected, reconnect battery, and switch on ignition from OUTSIDE the car.

cheers bud.i meant to mention that the seats are out of a classic as i prefer the shape than newer ones.can i simply bolt to my existing runners?i do have the classic runners also.
