I have SRS equipped front seats but want to swap them for later wrx (2003) or sti seats.
Can anyone tell me if the 2003 onwards and or sti front seats have srs airbags fitted?
Also if anyone has done this how did it affect the airbag warning light if not fitted thanks.

Mine are from a WR1 (black) and there are no airbags.

P.S. Fit a 3 (?) ohm resistor across the pins of the loom connector, and the ecu will think the airbag is still fitted.

 

Agree thats what I did, been fine for over 12 months. If you get UK wrx seats 03 onwards thay will however have airbags. Import WRX seats or sti seats will not.
