Default changing colour of dash lights?

Hi people
im wanting to change the colour of the whole dash/consol/clocks lights but no idea where to start, where to get the right coloured bulbs or is there a way to modify existing bulbs to another colour?
Any advice would be great.
cheers

What model rex do you have? some are easier than others.

The speedo is really easy, you can either change the T10 bulbs to LED's or just get standard bulbs and use silicon sleaves to change the colour i.e. red, blue, orange, pink, and green.

It should be pretty simple then, there will be two screws in the underside of the speedo facia, undo them. Then there will be three more screws holding the speedo in, undo them and pull it out carefully, feel behind it to see if its the old cable type. Which the clips can brake easy on, just take your time to release it. Then you just pull the bulbs out of the back.

Incorrect info.

Remove the whole cluster.

4 screws hold the surround, then 4 screws hold the dial cluster in place.

Speedo cable should pull off fairly easily, more tricky are the wiring plugs, 2 large ones either side, and a small one on the right, when looking at it in situ.

If you want the lights brighter, they are crap after all, just remove the rubber covers from the bulbs.

Whats not correct? cant you read?

See where I say "pull it out carefully, feel behind it to see if its the old cable type. which the clips can brake easy on, just take your time to release it."

Once you release the speedo cable, does it not come out? idiot!

any good music shop should do it...they use it for stage lighting......different colour film.... just lay the film over the back of the gauges and tape in place... that way the light that is filtered will be perfect.....AND NOT DARK AND BRIGHT ALL OVER THE PLACE..............
