Default Cup holders...

Long story short but in a scooby I looked at before getting mine had cup holders and I told the misses this one should have . Well my 98 impreza does have one in the centre section behind the handbrake but can I fit a set to pop out in the dash next to the rear window demister / hazard button?

Theres a long button like cover that appears to be able to pop out but I don't want to force it and do damage.

I've seen cup holders on Ebay that look like they go in that hole but I would love to know how.

Pics would be pukka

Rob

Think this was one of the money saving efforts by Subaru on the UK car over the JDM!

Yeah they do fit, didnt have one there in MY98, so bought one from ebay and fitted it realy easy.
If i remember right, you just pull/lift out the vents above the hazzard switch and there is a couple of screws holding that plastic bit on and u just take it out n put the new one in.
