Default Steering wheel offset

Hi all,

Been dormant for a few years but just returned to the Scooby fold with a 98/99 Legacy 4cam estate.

I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice.

I'm a rather odd build, very tall but with quite short arms. I am having incredible difficulty a reaching the steering wheel without my knees folded up into the dashboard. b reading any if the intruments over 30mph/2000rpm - let alone the indicator/door instrument.

Are there any steering column mods or steering wheel offset dish combos etc that are common mods?

Thankyou.
Glen.

Hi Glen,
you need a dished steering wheel, Demon Tweeks is a good source of info, you will need a hub to suit your car.
Also available are adjustable spacers to move the wheel up or down the steering column axis.

Your insurance company may not like this mod, but explain your difficulty and they may be reasonable (?)
