Default dash bulbs

hi all

the light in my speedo revs fuel and temp are very dim! i changed them to LED's but still no change! Any help to why this might be!

Pull the clocks out, take the blobs off the bulbs and job should be a good-un.

do you mean the blobs that give you hot spots with LED's as there the only bits i can just see if i get shot off them i wont be able to see anything!

The standard bulbs have bluey/green covers on them, they are just like sidelight bulbs other wise.

Take the covers off = better brighter lighting.

ive not got the standered bulbs in anymore! ive put L E D's in instead! thinking that would help but it didn't!

Put the standard bulbs back in, without the covers. Unless you've thrown the bulbs out?

I had led's fitted, but got sick of not being able to see where the needles were pointing.

led`s usually are a lot dimmer then stock dash bulbs lol

are they! i cant even look at them when they are out the dash! and in my mates sti they are brighter than the standered bulbs!
