Default Bucket Seats.

Hi all i'm modding my 96 wagon for some track use namely nurburgring..i've been sourcing bucket seat's found some sparco sprint seats but without fixing brackets..guess my question is i've seen bracket mounting frames else where would they be totally universal or have i got to buy specifically subaru impreza mounts..i'm also guessing it's a dumb question and that seat runners are virtually the same width apart and brackets are adjustable but need to check..thanks

I've seen a few posts on here about this and I'm pretty sure that you have to use the car's existing subframe and get a welder to weld the new seat brackets on in the right place.

Someone will be along to correct me if I'm wrong.

Default Seat runners

I used Subaru runners from my standard seat to mount my Sparco driver's seat (the seat is bolted so that it cannot move backwards/forwards), but these bolts can be removed and the seat repositioned for shorter/taller drivers.

Passed scrutineering at hill climbs and sprints with no "issues".

Not the best pictures, but I hope they help:
