Default my06 seats too high

Hi Ive a my06 and although the seat fits me right they are just too damn high.
Can you get the seat rails out of a bugeye so that i can sit lower down?
Like the seats just not the height! failing that i may have to change the seats altogether

they sit lot higher on passenger side than only way they can be dropped is by cutting 10/20mm out the bracket that bolts to chassie and re weilding it classic subframe wont fit bug eye seats
they was some one looking in to making ready made brackets on here but i thinkthey gave up on the idea

Thanks for the response, however I wont be cutting and welding, also dont think Im going to have that problem as Im probably going from my current hawkeye seat rails to bugeye seat rails if they will do what I want.

The other option (and easiest and cheapest) is to put a set of classic seats in. they sit about 1-1.5 inches lower, which will make a massive difference.

buy a set of v11 sti seats and fit them, they will fit perfectly and seat you about an inch lower, mervil has just bought my v11 seats from me and fitted them to his car, he can confirm this for you

I have the same problem, the HKS Kansai seat rails work out £290 for one side

Has anyone fitted a pair of Integra DC5 Recaro seats? Do Recaro sell seat rails for the Impreza?

Thanks

I make it £180.23 for the RHS and £163.48 for the LHS.

Not cheap, but, options seem to be limited.

Yup they are non air bag type seats.

The price of bringing the seat rails over seems a bit steep, especialy when you put customs on top

Back to my original plan of bugeye rails..........
