Upgrading airbag steering wheel

Any hints and tips on removing a steering wheel with an airbag?

I've got a 2000my classic UK turbo and I was thinking of swapping the wheel for an 03 wheel. anyone know if this is a straight swap?

Do a search on here, there's a guide somewhere. I've got a P1 wheel to fit to my MY 97, haven't plucked up the courage yet.
