Default MY99 Steering Wheel change

I want to change the steering wheel out of my car, but am not sure about it, seeing as it has an airbag! I have tried searching for my answers but ant find what i am looking for!!!
What i need to know, is does the steering wheel fit onto a boss similar to the early cars? ie undoes with the six hex nuts? I know i have to unplug the airbag, does this have to be done with the battery off?? and what resistor do i need to make it think there is still an airbag there?? or can i get the light turned off at the ecu????

Thanks

cool, answers a few, i assume from both those threads that the steering wheel is bolted to the column, not like the older ones that had a 6 bolt arrangement!?
Whats with the seatbelt pretensioners under the seat, are they to be unplugged?? sounds a dodgy!!! can anyone do a short 'how to' pls, just so i know exactly what to look for!
Thanks
