MY02 Clock wiring help needed

Default MY02 Clock wiring help needed

I want to tap/splice into the cables that power the clock on the newage. (MY02 STI)

I've unplugged the socket and I see 4 colours.

Blue
Black
Purple
Yellow


Which is which ?

If you check at the back off the clock where you pull out the plug molded into the plastic is the relevent info grd/live/light/accessory.... are you fitting gauges ?

ok all sorted.

Constant 12V+ Wire: Blue/Red
Ignition Switched 12V+ Wire: Yellow/Green
Ground Wire: Black
Illumination Dimmer Wire: Purple

Watch out if it is a Defi install, as mine act a bit odd when you operate the (useless !) famous bright/dim switch on the left hand stalk....
