Default Someone must have fitted a smaller steering wheel...

to their Impreza...

I'm desperate to fit a smaller diameter wheel to my 2.0 Sport (1999).

I now realise that the Momo wheel is same diameter as the std fit.

I want to retain the airbag...

Due to the enormous size of the original wheel, someone else must have found the answer ?

any help much appreciated..

thanks...

Default yeh

the standard wheel on my 99 sport made me sea sick it was that big .

i changed it for an omp item which is 300mm in size.totaly changed the whole feel of the car..mind you its a non airbag item but makes such a change it was worth it....i had to get a boss kit for it and they can be hard to get for that year of car,so i trotted to the local scrapyard and got a boss of an early legacey which fitted just fine.

300mm is way too small in my opinion. It makes the car feel like a toy!
350/330mm is a good size.

As above....the 350mm is perfect and works well with the ra quick rack on my car.....think any smaller would be an overkill.

P.s thanks for the Omp wrc wheel Chrispurvis....
