Fitting defi BF gauges tomorrow- turbo boost, oil temp & oil pressure. Sti 2004ver8. Got oil temp adaptor for fitting beside cylinder 3 and oil pressure adaptor from Scoobyclinic for allowing both original and Defi pressure sensors to be inserted below alternator (I've since learn't that I don't actually need this bit of kit- £40!!!??).

This is how i'm going to connect Defi link controller power wires??-

red (permanent live) to blue/red wire to stereo,

orange (switched ignition live) to ignition wire to cig lighter,

black (ground/earth) to dash frame.

white (illumination) wire to illumination wire on cig lighter??? Is this illumination wire for the controller (i.e. so controller will only light up when side/headlights are on?)?- will this have same effect on gauges??? Thought they would need switched ignition illumination as have black faces and need illumination to be seen (i.e. when headlights/cig lighter are off during daylight)!!!! or does controller sort this out even though illumination wire to it is run off of lights???

Used multimeter to check all feeds.
