Question

I've asked this several times before but can't get a straight answer. Is there anyone who has fitted a 3/4 point harnes to a EARLY WRX (must have the old console and bucket seats) I know they fit ok in the uk cars BUT I haven't found anyone with a similar model. The problem is trying to fit the eye bolt between the drivers seat and the centre console - there just isn't any room for it and I can't find an alternative mounting point.

Can anyone shed some light on this matter before I sell my harness to someone else?

Charlie

Fix a bracket to the bolt retaining the rear of the seat runner, and attach the eye-bolt to that. Performance Drivers supply these with their removable roll cage, made by Safety Devices near Cambridge. Sorry, no phone numbers to hand.

Richard.
