Question How do I put on the Defi pod on classic?

I got Defi pod from a fellow member here and trying to figure out how to mount it instead of the OEM pocket
I know I have to get seperate vents in order not the cut the ones I have (since they are connected to the pocket part)
but then what? zip ties and crazyglue?

The vents on my '98 classic weren't part of the top cubby-hole. I simply removed the lid and hinges, drilled a small hole in the base for the wire to come through, (it has to be big enough for the Defi connector), then set the pod in place with SMALL blobs of clear silicone. You can't see the silicone once the pod is in place. My pod came from Scooby Mania in Nottingham, and fitted without having to remove the base.

Before doing this, I set it in blu-tack to get an idea of where to put the silicone. I only used small blobs of silicone, as I may want it off later, and it will pull off if I want it to.

You can see where I put the controil unit too.
