Default Harnesses

Am not sure if this is in the right dept but does anyone know if you can get harnesses that dont involve drilling the floor? I want one for the odd track day but dont want to ruin the floor of the car, or affect its re-sale value should i ever want to sell it. I would ideally like something that could plug into the rear seatbelt thingys(cant think of the word!).

Does such a thing exist?
Cheers
Steff

Is it bollocks

you can use the existing seatbelt bolts to fit harhasses, i use the rear lapbelt mounting points, the front seatbelt lower bolt and the seat subframe mounting bolt on the transmission tunnel, just make sure you order a set of harnasses with bolt in catches and not spring clip ones.

The only problem i have is that i have a MY99 Wagon and the seatbelts are attached to the seats. So i cant even use the seatbelt mounts to attach them to. Unless there is a specific manufacturer that does that. I think that the normal seatbelt is going to have to do????

Steff,

Are you going to put a rollcage in as well? There's one theory that if you're strapped in so well and the car rolls (without cage) you can't slide sideways / out of the way when the roof comes in which you may be able to do with a normal belt If you've got a cage in then you hang in the straps still in a non-crushed area (and then fall in a heap when the harness is undone (The outside mught need a bit of T-cut but that's possibly the least of the worries )
