In my experience, the subaru mats are fecking useless.

I bought a set when I picked my car up in August 2003, and by the first yearly service (August 2004), the drivers side had worn *through*.
The car had only been driven 10000 miles in that period of time, and it's not like either my wife or myself wear shoes that have sharp or hard contours to them (we almost always drive in trainers).

My dealer wasn't interested in replacing them either. Basically, they said it wasn't their problem.

Paying 60 quid for dealer fitted mats, when they wear through in one year (obviously, YMMV) is a joke, in my books.
