Just joined the wonderful world of Scooby ownership. Got rid of My Landrover Discovery as the juice was out of this world!

I just bought a mint 95 Non Turbo impreza for a family car....but...
The gear lever Gaitor is awfull, does anyone know if it is possible to get a new boot without one of the very "bling" surrounds that are avaliable.

I was thinking if there was away of modding current setup to allow a standard leather boot to be used - but there is no way of securing it.

Ideas and pics would be much appreciated.

I might have a spare one (but for an MY 00) - alternatively try Grade A subaru breakers - they have loads and charged me £15 for a replacement. They will send in the post.

Edit: - not sure if you want a nicer one, or a replacement for a damaged one!!
