Default One cleaner for the whole interior??

Hi all,

Does anyone know what material the door interior panels and dashboard top surface on a MY99 is mad out of. It looks like leather.....of sorts, well, maybe a synthetic replica, anyway! I wanted to know if it needed a special cleaner to protect and preserve it, or is it ok to use something like Autoglyms interior shampoo on the lot!

Best.

it pisses me of when something is sold like interior shampoo cause you shouldnt(imho) use that stuff on trim it is really only for upolstery i am sure you should use a very mild detergant on the plastic trim and if it is leatherett stuff just wipe it over with a damp cloth or mild detergant

If it is leather then a proper leather cleaner and DO NOT USE SILICON ON THE DASH (it fades it in the sun) OR STEERING WHEEL GEAR **** HAND BRAKE (it makes them slippery and you may not be in full control of your vehicle if know what i mean

Glossy, thanks. I had my doubts about "suitable for all surfaces" shampoo. Any reccommendations re. a mild detergent?

Best

I steer clear of most interior cleaners since last time I used some turtle wax and got blinded by the sun reflecting off the dash.

Now use Meguiars Quik detailer inside - gives a nice matt finish.
