Question

Just wondered if someone could tell me what the black plastic clip in the left-hand side of the passengers foot-well is surposed to hold because what ever it should hold is missing, it's about the right size for a bike pump if that help's identify it (please no smart comments about bike pumps:rolleyes .Thanks Rik

Cheers Jason, i know i might sound stupid but why would you want a flare in the car and if there's a good reason then why ar'nt they in the EU cars. I was exspecting something like a torch like in bemmers. Rik

Wink

A c-cell size Maglite fits just nicely ! Mine still had the 'flare' when it arrived, but its the type of flare like a candle not one that launches into the air, so not quite as dangerous as it sounds.

The Japs use it as a hazard warning, say if they break down on a blind bend or something. Good idea but think its illegal in Britain.ROB

Cool

According to Richard Grimes, the flare counts as a firearm and should be handed over to the police... (He didn't get one in his UK version though! )

I was going to set mine off on new years eve, but then I thought there's bound to be a time when I'm being hijacked and I'll wish I had a firearm to shove up the guys nose.........

Neil.
