Fitted my new white dial kit. Took loads of care but speedo now has a mind of it's own.

Can I get it fixed or have I blown it?

I put the needle back on as per instructions but the motion is lumpy not fluid

Dials look good though

 

Run through the simple things, check that you haven't forced the needle back on too far and it is catching.

Also make sure that the speedo cable is correctly connected all the way down to the gearbox. (vehicle age relevant).

Reset your trip meter.
