aaaargh Ok how the hell do u get the spindle to come out through the hole in the right handside end of the STI throttle pedal bracket? I can get the spindle bolt all the way thru, but can I get it through that hole, can I **** :/

Access is limited so its very hard to see, any suggestions to make it easier?

Yep, it's a real PITA and takes a lot of patience. I found I had to squeeze the new pedal and the old one together to allow the hole to line up properly.

The little nuts on the back of the clutch/brake pedals were even worse. Well in saying that, I managed the brake without any great worries, but the very last nut on the clutch took me 15 mins and a lot of swearing.

My brother & sister were playing football in the back garden at the time, so they could hear muffled foul language from inside the car. Then I just got up, walked across the garden to the house and asked them to pass the ball and in the same steo, booted their football clear across the fence into our neighbours garden.

You should have seen the looks on their faces A bit like the Peter Kay/John Brown ad's and it felt great

That didn't work for me, I had to squeeze the bracket with mole grips and only then did it pop straight through on the 1st attempt
