Din type pod - where from?
I am in the process of building a scoobymonitor
www.scoobymonitor.co.uk
and want to mount it in a centre dash mounted pod like the one shown here from ETS.

But, I want a squarer front panel to accomodate a din size panel it will be mounted on.
Any ideas?

I thought about doing that but wanted the display to be as close to eye level as possible. I suppose I could do this, although I was going to mount the LED's from my knocklink in the same panel and possibly my nitrous arming switch when installed. :-)

This pod came with the unit from PSI3 via Scoobyworld. It is a direct replacement for the clock pod on my 03 WRX.I know yours is a JDM MY98 but you may be able to mount it somehow using a bit of ingenuity.
And maybe loads of gaffa tape.

MY INSTALL HERE
Or they do this pod to fit the flip lid tray thingy on earlier cars.

Hey Welloilbeefhooked, where did you get the DIN plate to mount the Scoobymonitor? I have a Scoobymonitor mounted in the spare DIN hole above my radio, but it's a pretty crappy botch job I made out of some plastic cos I couldn't find a DIN panel suitable. Ideally it needs to be one that can be held in place by screws on the sides just like the radios are in Jap cars.
