Question

I've just rebuilt my engine and had the BOSCH knocklink sensor to fit onto the block above no.4 cylinder. I got the correct bolt I was advised (M8 x 40mm) to fit in the tapped hole on the block. However I went to fit it on Friday and found out the hole is actually M10. Since the sensor hole is good for 8mm bolt, can any1 advise how they fitted their sensor. Thanks
