does anyone do a top dash bin conversion that makes the space hold a single din unit as i want to fit another screen to my car but want to get a built in motorised unit

Try a normal 6" screen and attach a spring type fittin to the rear,So when you open the tray the screen will raise and when closed push it down again,Good idea!Who knows maybe a little trial and error to be had,Has anyone done this?

 

i have a 6.5in tft in there at the moment allthough you cant shut the lid by a 1/4 inch but it fits in there nicley with the lid up. i have moved it now to a mount over near the little vent on the passengers side its fine there but would like to get one that was motorised.

do jap cars have a double din unit? mine is a MY 98 do they do double dins and if i did get hold of a jap one would it be a straight swap.
