I have "Ver 4" seats. They look absolutely normal except the lettering under the 'STi' lettering. It says something to the tune of - "1996 World Manufacturers Rally Champions - Subaru"
If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks

My guess is it was from a special edition STi Ver4.

 

they sound like the seats from a 555 vltd the seats were to commemorate(spelling) colin mcrea's win in 1996.

think they only came in the ra's badged 555vLtd RA

i got a wrx96 v-limited and ive got those seats in mine.also got the same badge but larger on the boot.
