I'm looking to buy a set of Defi's and was wondering if those in the know could give me some advice.
I plan on getting a Boost gauge, Oil Temp and Oil Pressure in the centre 3 pod.
I intend on buying the bits seperately to keep costs down, so what exactly do I need for this set-up?
Obviously, I'll need the pod and gauges, but what else?
Turbo sensor, oil pressure sensor, oil temp sensor?
Do I need a control unit and if so what for?
Is there anything else I'd need for this set-up?
Cheers in advance

Yes you will need a control unit, as that is the box which takes the readings from each of the sensors, and then sends the relevant signal out to each of the gauges.
The Control Unit also allows you to program your warning levels, peak recall, record/playback finctions.
As for the other bits, I think that you need an oil pressure sender, as IIRC the Defi gauges can use the OE Oil Temp Sender.

The Defi's I bought came with everything I needed, except an adaptor to screw the Defi oil temp sender into the Scoob block. I bought 'em for a very good price from Scoobymania, complete with their pod. The adaptor was £8 extra.
I'd recommend you check out Scoobymania.
