removing door cards MY96 sti

If its the same as mine (my94 wrx) then its easy. All you need to do is undo the 2 screws, the first is is in the recess where you hold to close the door (it may have a small cap on it but that just pops out with a sharp knife) the other is located behind the catch where you would open the door from the inside.Open the window fully to help with the next bit. There are poppers holding the rest of the door trim on and they just pop off round the bottom and side of the door. After this is done you lift the door card up which unclips from the top of the door. Unplug the electic window block and your done. By the way it took me longer to write this than it takes to do it!!

hi folks,
want to upgrade the crapy front speakers in my MY96 sti, but am not sure how to remove the door cards. checked the FAQ, but its only for MY98 on. any help appreciated, as i havent a clue and dont want to damage them. also, anyone know the exact size of the standard speakers ??
