I've just picked up my new car (MY00 Turbo) and the interior trim (heater vents, centre console, speedo surround) has been replaced with a lovely (not) polished wood version.

Luckily he kept the original trim, so the question is.. How big a job is replacing it ? Is it something that can be tackled yourself or is it a Subaru dealer job ?

Finally, what would that lovely wood interior trim be worth secondhand ?

Does it just push on / pull off ? It looks like the radio etc needs to be removed from the centre console ?

I know.. who in their right mind puts wood effect in there !?

The radio is mounted into that, yes. You need to remove the radio then it all does push/pull apart with only a gentle pull in the right order...
