Whilst looking for a gauge pod to house a boost gauge and AFR, I had the idea that if i replace the double din head unit (MY02) with a single din (which i am doing anyway) the unused area is screaming out to be used. It would be a lot neater than a pod or bracket, plus the Dawes AFR id square and would look best mounted on a flat plate rather than in a round pod.
Has anyone done this? Would there be enough room for the 52mm gauge to fit? If not are there smaller boost gauges?

I believe the maximum diameter of the gauges for a single din slot are 46mm, I know HKS do gauges this size, Autometer may do, may be worth giving this lot a call as they can get most gauges.

I've had the gauge pack pitted to my STiUK, the 3 gauge pack will fit in the spare din slot. I was considering putting mine there but I've left them at the top as they're a bit easier to look at.
I now have somewhere to put my sunglasses.
