just wondering was it possible to modify to fit a later already white dial speedometer etc. on to a older style one?

 

I have my doubts. I know the pre '97 facelift models use a mechanical speedo whereas the post '97 facelift are all electrical. Not seen been a bug eyes dash yet so couldn't say. On top of whether it'll actually plug in and work properly, it probably wouldn't fit straight into the gap. Chances are slight AFAIK
