Hi Guys,

Started work on the cars today and fitted the steering wheel / boss kits. I've done my research and I'm aware that I need to fit a resistor into the airbag plug and we've tried 2.2 and 3.3 ohm resistors based on recommendations from here. However the airbag light remains on.

This is a Type UK bug eye. Additional info that may be useful is that the boss kit is a genuine MOMO boss but we couldn't retain the clock spring with this boss. We cut the airbag wires just before the clock spring and have tried various resistors across the two wires but to no avail.

Wondering / hoping that someone has the definitive answer!

I know my seats where 3.3 ohms but my HKB boss came with a resistor in the kit so I didn't have to research it.

If I get time I'll take the wheel off and check what it says

 

might be 2ohm

 

Definitely 2ohm
