Hi,

Recently picked up another Classic Impreza and as with my last one, the rear brackets holding the base of the driver's seat to the frame have both failed. I found a set of seats on eBay but they had the same problem and I also messaged some sellers who were breaking cars with no reply.

Having given up on used items I've tried to find an aftermarket place that sells them - no joy - and I don't have a subaru main dealer nearby.

Anyone have any suggestions what I should try next?

Failed in what way exactly? Adjuster mech shot, or rails actually split from metal-fatigue?

It's the two rivnuts at the back, where the 90 degree brackets from the adjustable base mechanism attach to the seat base itself. I'll see if I can get a decent photo when it's light.

Actually, this is get another set on eBay with the exact same issue...
